 We develop products that benefit people. This mission statement also includes our ecological responsibility. For instance, intelligent STEINEL sensor technology ensures maximum energy efficiency in lighting applications, significantly easing the strain on the environment. And we also pay strict attention to ecological compatibility in developing and manufacturing our products. To this end, we have established a uniform standard at all STEINEL sites across the globe incorporating all relevant national and international guidelines. Among other aspects, this also implements the comprehensive RoHS guideline on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. As part of its product responsibility, STEINEL is also involved in implementing the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG).

And, of course, STEINEL has been awarded certification under the current standard on quality management.

Watt-o-matic, mini-sensor, the HF-sensor system and the use of highly efficient LED technology are just some of the forward-pointing innovations that distinguish STEINEL as a pace-setter in energy-saving lighting concepts.
In-house development and design ensure that we will remain technology and brand leader in energy-efficient lighting concepts in the future too.
Service
 As a quality-focused brand manufacturer, we attach importance to first-class service. We will be pleased to provide you with help and advice on any matter concerning sensor technology. Also typical STEINEL is the guaranteed availability of replacement glass shades over a period of 5 years.

Sustainability
 We take our responsibility seriously. For STEINEL, adhering to European legislation and work regulations at all of our factories for the well-being and protection of staff and the environment goes without saying. On top of this, we keep transport distances short to reduce CO2 emissions and ensure that on reaching the end of their useful life products are disposed of in a way that is kind on the environment. Plastics are recycled wherever possible.
Not least, we use plastics and components that last for a long product life to ease the strain on the environment.
