Human Presence Detection - More intelligence thanks to optical multi-sensor technology.

What? How much? Where? When? Our best specialists have addressed these questions and developed a system in which the image analysis takes place directly in the sensor. With Human Presence Detection (HPD), we have achieved a quantum leap in the field of sensor technology. The HPD sensors are the world's first presence detectors that not only detect people who are present, but also count them. Regardless of whether they are moving or not. The heart of the people sensors is an innovative technology with a highly sensitive optical system combined with a complex mathematical algorithm. The HPDs also have integrated temperature and humidity sensors, opening up completely new possibilities for building automation. Lighting, heating and air conditioning, measured according to the number of people present in a room, can finally be controlled as required.

Organising flexible workplaces

A workplace in a major international city costs €10,000 or more per year. Yet often half of the workstations are not occupied. With the desk-sharing solution, you can see at a glance where workstations are still free. Idea: Improve the utilisation rate and save money.

Meeting room management

Which meeting room is free? Which one is occupied? Where is the meeting taking place? Our meeting room solution allows you to quickly and reliably determine room utilisation and actual occupancy, and even how many people are in the room.

Optimise waiting queues

Nobody likes queuing. Neither in the supermarket at the checkout nor at lunch in the canteen. With the Waiting Line solution, new checkouts are opened and staff are sent to the points to quickly clear queues.

New ways of working require new office concepts. Office workstations are often unoccupied due to business trips or working from home. Campana & Schott uses the Smart Workspace FlexDesk solution to organise flexible workstations for its employees. Based on the real-time data provided by the HPD 2, employees usually search for a free office workstation via an app while on the move. Office space is thus optimally utilised and costs are saved.
