How does a twilight switch work?
A photo sensor integrated in the twilight switch permanently measures the ambient brightness of the outdoor area. The brightness threshold can be continuously adjusted from 2 lux (night) to 2000 lux (day) via an adjustment knob. If this is exceeded or undershot, the twilight switch actuates a switching contact to switch the connected luminaire off or on.
