Control COM1 / DALI-2

All sensor variants communicate with the controller via an interface and are automatically recognized by it. Depending on the area of application, the optimum sensor technology can thus be selected.

Sensors ED HF1 & HF2

Designed for recessed applications, the sensor modules feature STEINEL's latest high-frequency sensor technology to automatically switch lights on and off according to ambient brightness and sensed environment. Detection takes place through glass and non-metallic materials, so the modules can be fitted inside lights, mirror cabinets etc. without any problems. 

  • Thanks to its flat patch antenna, the ED HF1 is particularly space-saving and is used whenever there is little room inside a luminaire for sensor technology. 
  • With its rod antenna, the ED HF2 is a particularly long-range RF sensor suitable for ceiling lights.

Sensor ED PIR

The ED PIR sensor head reliably detects movements with its patented multi-segment pyrosensor and is suitable for indoor and outdoor luminaires. 

Control CD COM1 & DALI-2

The control unit communicates with the sensor via a uniform interface and passes on its signals to the luminaire. Adjustable follow-up times and individually adjustable response brightness are part of the equipment, as is configuration via remote control.

Designed for indoor applications, the modules feature STEINEL's latest RF technology and automatically switch lights on and off according to ambient brightness and sensed environment. Detection takes place through thin, non-metallic materials, so the modules can be fitted inside lights without any problems.

In our new monoblock sensors, we have integrated the control unit for DALI-2 and COM1 right away. Thus we create a space-saving sensor system with connection to DALI-2 bus systems.

Philips SR & Osram DEXAL

For direct communication with the Philips SR and Osram DEXAL interface we offer two of our most innovative sensors: The ED PIR sensor with its patented multi-segment sensor lens and the high-resolution HF2. Both are ideal for installation in high-quality LED luminaires and can be easily adjusted via infrared.

Osram DEXAL

OSRAM DEXAL is a DALI-based, non-proprietary interface for networking components within a luminaire. In addition to the power supply, it also enables bidirectional communication between the OSRAM OPTOTRONIC DEXAL LED driver and the connected device. OSRAM DEXAL technology enables manufacturers to produce intelligent and networked luminaires with an interface that is supported by many lighting management systems (LMS). Direct connection of SENSOTEC Dexal sensors is also possible.
