Living and working in the region

There's more to life than just work.

With its 16,000 or so inhabitants, Herzebrock-Clarholz is on the border between Münsterland and Ostwestfalen-Lippe. Münsterland and Ostwestfalen-Lippe are strong business centres in Germany. They are defined by small and medium-sized enterprises – only 32.5 percent of people employed in the manufacturing industries work in companies with more than 500 members of staff.

What's striking is a balanced blend of mechanical engineering, furniture industry, health care, metalworking industry, food industry, media, information and telecommunications industry, electrical and electronics industry.

Münsterland is a region in northwest Westphalia in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The centre of Münsterland is Münster, the Westphalian city and former provincial capital. Apart from this, the Münsterland region today is made up of the districts of Borken, Coesfeld, Steinfurt, Warendorf and the independent city of Münster which often work together and engage in joint activities under this term.
