What do motion detectors react to?
Motion detectors react to walking movements. They detect them in the set detection range.
Cars and small animals (especially from infrared sensors) are also detected. To prevent the light from constantly coming on in the case of stray cats, for example, you can resort to the iHF sensors, the sensors with a first real small animal suppression.
However, this system has its limitations. Since small children are to be recorded, dogs or other animals with the mass of a child are also recorded, for example.
The HF sensor, on the other hand, does not care about the walking direction. Whether you walk straight towards the sensor or cut it sideways - the detection quality and range is always equally good.
