Modern, energy-efficient work environment

Belonging to a former barracks, the building at the railway station in Goch was completely refurbished and converted for commercial use in 2012/2013. On an area of 2,200 sq.m, it provides spacious and modern office floor space with a bright, friendly atmosphere over 5 storeys. A KNX building automation system takes care of controlling all of the building's key functions with maximum energy efficiency.

Depending on point of use and detection task, various KNX detectors from STEINEL were installed to provide central automatic lighting control. The lighting systems connected to it can be switched ON and OFF again in relation to use. Any available daylight is also taken into account.

The dedicated DUAL HF KNX corridor sensor was installed in corridors and passageways. The IR Quattro HD KNX, the IR Quattro KNX as well as the IR Quattro SLIM KNX are used for detecting persons engaged in seated activities in offices and conference rooms. Able to penetrate objects, the HF 360 KNX is the ideal detector in washrooms and WC facilities. The sensIQ S KNX was used outdoors.
