The high-bay sensors in the NET product family offer advanced technology for large halls and enable reliable detection up to a height of 14 metres. Our customer Molto Luce is successfully using these sensors in a logistics hall.

SENSOTEC NET sensors have impressed Molto Luce because they offer simple, wireless start-up and flexible grouping options.

In combination with STEINEL's proven sensor performance, the highbay sensors enable Molto Luce to equip their lighting systems with real added value. This way, our customers benefit from efficient, customised light control and a high level of user-friendliness.

A direct comparison between the old lighting system and the new light-band system highlights the clear benefits: the optimised quality of light between the shelves ensures better visibility.

Despite the smaller number of luminaires, the new trunking system provides 215 lux of illuminance, an improvement on the previous system.

The energy-saving potential is huge: depending on the design and the technologies used, the new lighting system can achieve energy savings of up to 90% and CO2 savings of up to 10,000 kg per year.

SENSOTEC sensors and technologies in use

The two SENSOTEC sensors HB PIR 345 Zhaga NET and HB PIR 3360 Zhaga NET are in use.

The DALI sensors have circular 360° or rectangular detection areas – depending on the application. The devices can be set up and grouped via wireless Bluetooth mesh communication, offering customers maximum flexibility. The specially developed IR lens, combined with the high-performance PIR sensor, guarantees maximum sensor performance.

Passive infrared (PIR)

STEINEL multi-lens technology is reminiscent of a fly's compound eye. It provides seamless monitoring of a hemispherical detection zone and, as an optimum lens system for motion detectors with dual/triple sensor, covers detection angles of 180° to 360°.

Wireless Connection via Bluetooth Mesh SIG

Intelligent, radio-controlled control of lights provides the framework for fully utilising the potential of LED lighting. The lights exchange information on motion detection and brightness measurement with each other, thereby ensuring efficient, needs-based lighting. STEINEL Solutions is a Bluetooth Mesh SIG Adopter Member.

Silvair web and mobile app

Quick installation and commissioning: The wireless networking of the luminaires reduces the installation effort and makes planning easier and more flexible. The appropriate settings (e.g. dimming level) and group networking can be prepared in the Silvair web app and later in the mobile app.
