Even more intelligent. Even more versatile.
Even more intelligent. Even more versatile.
Not only does it recognise their presence, it also counts and precisely locates the people in the room – even in flexibly definable detection zones – regardless of whether they are moving or totally still. This can only be done by Human Presence Detection (HPD). The optical sensor HPD3 offers the possibility to measure temperature and humidity. This opens up new perspectives in building automation. As not only do optical sensors such as the HPD3 enable efficient floor space utilisation, they also ensure the ideal air conditioning control with their added air quality sensor technology. With the aid of the HPD3, light, heating and air conditioning can at last be completely managed, as required, on the basis of the people present in the room. The HPD3 has an integrated HF detector and is fitted with an IP interface. The HPD3 is linked through REST API, MQTT and BacNet for any IoT applications. Unlike the HPD2, the HPD3 is not fitted to the wall but to the ceiling and has a discreet appearance with its streamlined design. The HPD3 is available in a surface-mounted or flush-mounted version and is suitable for interior spaces such as auditoriums, classrooms, open-plan offices, conference rooms, meeting rooms, production areas, recreation rooms and canteens.
