Precision angle encoder for the worldwide hydro infrastructure, Swiss Made – Products that Rittmeyer can rely on at all times thanks to STEINEL's expertise in testing and calibration. 


STEINEL Solutions developed the testing and test equipment technology for its customer Rittmeyer AG, a specialist in measuring technology solutions for hydroelectric power stations and the water industry based in Baar ZG, and assembles the device at its Swiss factory. The calibration data is stored directly on the customer's server so that their customer service has this information available at all times. The products are manufactured and stocked by STEINEL Solutions in Switzerland. When ordered, the products are collected from the factory in Einsiedeln for onward shipment.

The RIVERT and RIPOS-HART absolute rotary encoders, a system for precise position and angle measurement, are suitable for a wide range of applications in hydro-infrastructure (water management). The universal RIPOS and RIVERT encoders cover a wide range of applications for measuring the angle, position, distance or actuating speed of various structures, such as weirs, ball valves, butterfly valves, drawbridges, sluice gates or travelling and slewing cranes.
