Our two new RS PRO 5500/5550 SC linear luminaires cut a fine figure in industrial settings as well as in passageways and office environments. Alongside their attractive appearance, their inner qualities are, of course, equally impressive. The luminaires provide pleasant lighting comfort and also serve as a shining example of direct cost savings through automatically switched lighting where continuous lighting would otherwise be required – not least thanks to the Bluetooth-based benefits of STEINEL Connected Lighting. This is because, thanks to new 24 GHz high-frequency technology, detection stops at the wall. Added to this is the precise range adjustment, which in turn ensures even greater detection sensitivity. To improve reparability and maximise service life, the luminaires have been deliberately designed with a modular structure. This means that the sensor, control unit, LEDs, emergency light battery and emergency light control unit – in addition to the cover – can be replaced by a specialist as spare parts. Furthermore, the cable with 5-core through-wiring can be fed in from either side or from the rear. The standard SC version provides an emergency lighting function powered by the central battery. The SC EM variant is available for a decentralised single-battery solution providing 3 hours of emergency lighting.
