Building intelligence for health and care

It's about people, not technology. Solutions for your home.

The idea behind

Enabling people to live independently in their own four walls and relieving the burden on nursing staff in the inpatient sector.

Life expectancy in our society is increasing, while the birth rate has been declining for years. In the future, there will thus be more and more older people and fewer and fewer younger people to take care of them. This demographic change also has an impact on the care sector. The demand for nursing staff will continue to increase significantly, both in the inpatient and outpatient sectors. Possible consequences may be bottlenecks and a lack of quality in care.
Whether at home or in a care facility, intelligent technical solutions support and relieve the burden on nursing staff in their daily work. They make it easier for relatives to provide care at home and enable those in need of care to remain in their own home.

The project

  • 1/5 of the population in Germany is 65 or older
  • The percentage of people in need of care in the total population is 4.1% - and rising
  • 95 per cent say that the possibility of receiving help and care at home is important or very important for an independent life in old age.
  • The number of care services has increased by 30% to 14,050 in the last 20 years.

Care for more well-being – digitally supported

Mobile phone showing where the person is staying
Outpatient – Reassured relatives: relatives are always well informed and are alerted quickly in an emergency.
PC showing a calendar with appointments
Flexible care service: Care services can use the data for more targeted route planning or more targeted care.
Tablet showing a dashboard
Stationary: The dashboard shows an overview of all rooms in the respective ward. The nursing staff on duty are always informed about the resident and can take targeted action if necessary.

More security. And peace of mind.

Digital support for health and care, in a care home or in your own home. Embedded in a networked solution, data collected by sensors or irregularities can be analysed and transmitted to mobile care services or relatives.

Sensors provide safety. And peace of mind.

In old age, many people want to remain in their familiar and accustomed surroundings for as long as possible. Nevertheless, it must be ensured that they are well cared for and in good health. With the support of intelligent sensor technology, this can be achieved. By combining the latest sensor technology, new relevant parameters can be determined. For example, the sensors register the presence and activity of a carer, provide information about their state of hygiene and ensure a comfortable environment. If deviations from the normal state are detected, relatives or the responsible care service is informed.

Care in care homes

Sometimes, in care facilities, one professional is responsible for up to 60 people in need of care at night. The True Presence® multisensor with its seven senses helps.
