Strong together

social responsibility

People are at the centre of our activities, because our success is based on human inventions. We provide an optimal environment for strong inventiveness. At the same time, however, we also take responsibility for taking care. With our Inventors Spirit and our skills, we pave the way for great inventors already in training. We encourage and support in order to achieve great things together.
Mission statement and evaluation

Our mission statement is an appeal to all managers and employees and describes our vision for the future. It contains our core values and principles, which determine how we interact with each other and work together across departments. To ensure that our important mission statement topics are actually put into practice, we regularly use the mission statement check to monitor our progress as an organisation in implementing them.

The STEINEL mission statement

  1. We are inventors
  2. Our products are (simply) ingenious.
  3. We make it so that it turns out really well.
  4. The freedom to create is what defines us.
  5. We solve things together.
  6. We are respectful, honest and helpful.
  7. Our customers love our products and the STEINEL brand.

Training and professional development – sustainable support for people

We place particular emphasis on the practical and holistic training of our junior staff. From the outset, our apprentices are entrusted with entire work processes and projects, both independently and as part of a team. This enables them to acquire professional, organisational, methodological and social skills while being challenged at the same time. They are always supported by experienced trainers, ensuring a successful start to their careers.

We know that good specialists are in demand. That's why our hiring rate of over 90 per cent is also remarkably high. We value the skills of our junior staff, such as independence, willingness to learn and perform, sense of responsibility and desire for further development and training. There are many opportunities for advancement at STEINEL.

From the ring to training

Everyone deserves a chance. That is why we support the social project Farid's QualiFighting of the Boxzentrum Münster. As part of a care concept for children and young people, academic and sporting achievements are closely linked, and at the same time, values and respect are taught. We offer participants in this programme the opportunity of an apprenticeship. In 2021, we were able to recruit two new apprentices for our company.

German course for refugees

A sound knowledge of the language is the basis for gaining a foothold in a foreign country. That is why, in 2016, we supported 18 refugees with a language course lasting several weeks at our headquarters in Herzebrock-Clarholz. In addition, we were able to provide some of them with accommodation in our company flat-share for the duration of the language course.
