Warehouses and factory bays, in particular, are very spacious and have high ceilings. Usually without daylight, they must therefore be well illuminated so that all work can be carried out easily and all operations can be implemented without disruption. In addition, employees must be able to move around the areas safely and vehicles must be able to be manoeuvred without causing accidents.
From a height of 14 metres, the IS 345 MX Highbay reliably detects movement. Cover caps limit the detection range and ensure that only relevant movements are registered. This means that light is only switched on when it is really needed.
For indoor use, ideal for great heights in warehouses, high-bay warehouses, machine shops, check-in and waiting halls, mounting height up to 14 m, detection zone 30 x 4 m (radial), large connection space for easy mounting.
The test object: a 1,551 m2 warehouse with seven aisles, each 40 m long. The mission: to update the warehouse to the latest state of the art and to optimise the sensors and lighting management system to meet the requirements of the narrow aisles and the high ceilings. The result: significantly lower energy consumption and emissions.
Operating costs were reduced by 73 per cent overall.
