Built in 2012, the Dalberg Höfe are a complex of buildings in Fulda, Germany, that houses retail space, offices and apartments. The various buildings are connected to each other by so-called "courtyards". Several stairwells and corridors provide easy access to the different areas. The lighting in the access and outdoor areas was to be controlled as needed. As well as being energy-efficient, the top priorities were comfort and security.
